Job Description at a glance: We are seeking an Application & Development Engineer to shape how designers use CCRAFT’s TFLN platform and ensure customer success. The role combines photonic design expertise with a customer-focused mindset, guiding partners from onboarding to successful tapeout. You will translate design needs into foundry-ready solutions, enhance the PDK’s usability and robustness, and turn complex fabrication knowledge into intuitive design flows and validated building blocks, driving the growth of CCRAFT’s design ecosystem.

Job Description at a glance: We are looking for a versatile, well-organized, and autonomous Operations and Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our startup. This part-time role (40–50%) is essential to ensuring smooth workflows, coordinating with accounting, HR, and suppliers, and helping establish efficient internal processes. You will work closely with the founders and play a key role in structuring our internal organization while providing hands-on support across administrative, financial, HR, and event-related activities.
PIC Physical Design & Layout Engineer (100%)

Job Description at a glance: We are seeking a PIC Physical Design & Layout Engineer to design, integrate, and prepare photonic integrated circuits for manufacturing on CCRAFT’s TFLN platform. The role focuses on physical design, layout, and tapeout of customer and internal chips, ensuring compliance with PDK rules, fabrication constraints, and packaging and measurement requirements. You will translate system and component specifications into manufacturable chip layouts, perform DRC/LVS and design sign-off, and generate production-ready mask data and reticles.
You will work closely with component simulation, PDK, fabrication, and measurement teams to ensure that designs are physically correct, scalable, and aligned with the full production flow, from design to wafer-level integration and testing.
PIC Component Simulation Engineer (100%)

Job Description at a glance: We are seeking a PIC Component Simulation Engineer to design and simulate photonic integrated circuits that maintain and continuously enhance CCRAFT’s PIC platforms. The role directly contributes to PDK development by generating robust, well-qualified component models and by building a deep understanding of manufacturing technology nodes required for scalable and reliable components. You will help expand the applicability of CCRAFT’s platforms across multiple domains by translating design requirements and fabrication constraints into foundry-ready building blocks, working closely with PDK and design integration engineers to ensure alignment between design, process, and long-term industrialization.
